Environmental Policy Statement
Gavin Electrical Engineering Limited is a growing and expanding company and has established an enviable reputation as a highly skilled, innovative, specialised and professional organisation. Our work involves the provisioning and supply of specialist designers and engineers in the programming of electronic / electrical systems typically for controlling logic controls, building electrical panels, on-site maintenance of systems and designing and developing applicable software for such uses within the automotive, petrochemical and construction industry to name a few. We fully support the work of the relevant industry Task Forces in raising awareness of environmental issues within their industries and in bringing forward practical guidance.
It is the policy of Gavin Electrical Engineering Limited to ensure that any threats of pollution from our activities are identified and either prevented, eliminated or effectively controlled. In pursuance of this policy our Company will:
· Comply with relevant environmental legislation and regulations;
· Assess on a regular basis the environmental impact of all our operations;
· Set and review environmental objectives and targets with the aim of continual improvement;
· Aim to include environmental considerations in investment decisions;
· Minimise waste, noise and emissions to atmosphere in all parts of our business;
· Reduce consumption of energy, fuel and materials;
· Reduce the environmental effects of our operations on habitats, species and on natural habitat;
· Wherever practicable use recycled or recyclable materials and components;
· Encourage employee involvement in environmental action.
This policy will be communicated to all employees, and made available to the public and interested parties using our company brochures, newsletters, web-sites and other appropriate media. The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that the policy is communicated, implemented and maintained throughout the organisation. The senior management team will review this policy statement periodically (at least annually), in order to ensure that it is current, suitable and relevant to the company's business activities. |
