Quality Policy Statement

Gavin Electrical Engineering Limited is an expanding company and has established an enviable reputation as a highly skilled, innovative, specialised and professional organisation. Our work involves the provisioning and supply of specialist designers and engineers in the programming of electronic / electrical systems typically for building electrical panels, on-site maintenance of systems and designing, developing applicable software for such uses within the automotive, petrochemical and construction industry to name a few. Our policy is to deliver a professional service, produced and delivered by competent, skilled, experienced and safety-conscious employees to fulfill our contractual obligations, meet the relevant industry requirements and exceed our client / customer expectations at a price that represents value. The Managing Director is totally committed to this policy and will provide all the necessary resources and support to meet the company's priority. The policy shall be used to provide a framework for establishing and reviewing the quality objectives of the company. The company will maintain an effective Quality Management System and constantly evaluate how to improve and implement its service for the benefit of its clients / customers, staff and employees. Our Quality Management System will continually meet the requirements of our clients / customers, and those of BS EN ISO 9001:2000. It is also expected that the system will be of benefit to those who have dealings or contacts with our company. All our staff and employees have a role to play - it is the responsibility of everyone to think Quality, act Quality, and most importantly, provide Quality in line with our clients' specified requirements and standards. It is also the responsibility of everyone to assist in the implementation and administration of the Quality Management System, and where appropriate, to offer suggestions for improvement. Continual Improvement of our Standards and Systems is essential, and everyone is encouraged to readily contribute ideas. It is equally important that everyone support changes aimed at making the Company the "Best Value" approved supplier to the whole of our customer base. Managers must assist and support the company by operating an 'open' style of communication and a blame-free culture. We must learn lessons from non-conformances, loss or damage, and seize the opportunity to establish actions that would prevent recurrence of the problem. The Quality Manager has my support and delegated authority to continually review and improve our systems, procedures and work instructions, as he deems necessary. He is responsible for communicating, implementing and maintaining the company quality policy at all levels of the organisation. Quality is mandatory and it is a priority. It is expected of all parties, staff, employees, managers and suppliers associated with Gavin Electrical Engineering Limited to conform to, and assist in, promoting Quality throughout the company.

The management team will review this policy statement periodically (at least annually), in order to ensure that it is current, suitable and relevant to the company's business activities.
